What would you like to know...
Q. What are your hours?
A. Opening April 11, 2011 at 8 am. (weather permitting) Regular business hours for April to mid June are: Tuesday-Friday 8am-7pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, Closed Sunday and Monday.
Hours change mid June so please go to our Contact us page for up-to-date days and hours.
Q. Where are you located?
A. 5515 Thickson Rd. North. From the 401, go North on Thickson Rd. Follow north, north of Hwy 2, Rossland Rd., Taunton Rd, Colin Rd, then us! We are on the East Side with a large Unilock sign on our roof. If you are heading North and see Winchester, you have gone too far.
Q. Do you have to pay for the Unilock Seminars.
A. No fees, Unilock provides the service for free.
Q. Do you sell triple mix, beach stone and limestone screening?
A. Yes, we have 20 bins of bulk materials. Triple Mix, Topsoil, Topdressing, Red, Black, Brown and Shredded Pine Mulch. Five different sizes of Beach Stone, plus assorted other decorative stone. The remaining consists of aggregates such a Gravel and Limestone.
Q. How do I buy your bulk products?
A. All bulk products are available for bulk pick-up, delivery or bag your own. We supply the bags, so there is no need for you to bring your own. If you are coming for pick-up, please be sure to either have a trailer, or that the box of your truck is not covered or cluttered.
Q. How much can I pick-up in my truck?
A. That really depends on the size of your truck. In most cases a half-ton truck will only hold 1/2 yard of gravel or soil. Mulch being much lighter you can load at least a yard. Just remember, gravel, soil, and decorative stone all weigh over 2000lbs per yard. In fact, the gravels weigh closer to 3000lbs. We will NOT load you if we deem it unsafe.
Q. Do you deliver?
A. Yes for a fee. The fee depends on your location and product. Deliveries are typically Wednesday to Friday late afternoon to 7pm. Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Large Unilock orders can be shipped Factory Direct (based on availability) any day Monday to Friday.
Q. Do you carry pre-bagged products?
A. Yes we do for a limited time only. Black Earth, potting soil, assorted mulches and nuggets. Peat Moss, Play Sand and more. This product line will be discontinued in the future, so please call to confirm availability.
Q. How much does Unilock weigh?
A. An average bundle (skid) of Unilock weighs 2800 pounds or more. If you choose to pick it up, you will probably have to make several trips.
Q. Do you sell plants like trees?
A. Yes, we have a huge selection of trees, flowering shrubs, spreading evergreens, broadleaf evergreens, ornamentals, and perennials. We have quite a large variety of Hostas and Daylilies on hand. All the plants we carry are the same as what we would use in our Landscape Services division.
Q. Will you order a tree if you don't have it?
A. Yes we will. We will source the tree first, then give you a price. If the tree is available, we require a 25% non-refundable deposit. We are confident that with our existing relationship with our suppliers that you will like the tree you receive. If we don't like it, it goes back!
Q. Are your plants guaranteed?
A. Yes, until May 31st of the following year, or year from date of purchase, whichever comes first. ie: Purchase tree June 30, guaranteed to May 31st. Purchase tree April 30, guaranteed to April 30 of the following year. NO guarantees on Perennials or Vines. All guarantees are up to original amount paid on sale items, or replacement at regular retail price paid. See store for more details.
