Years in Business
OGS Landscape Services is a family-owned business that has been in the Durham Region since 1953. Its location on Thickson Rd. North has been 'home' for over 40 years. Our fully staffed office is open year round Monday to Friday so that any of your questions or concerns can be dealt with in a quick and efficient manner.
Our Employees
OGS Landscape Services is a group dedicated to working together. From Designer to Supervisor, to Foreperson to Labourer, all team players take pride in their workmanship and professionalism. Regular communication between Designers and Supervisors allows for questions and concerns to be dealt with immediately. This communication guarantees the highest level of quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Educational and/or skilled training ensure our staff is qualified for the task at hand. In general, all Supervisors and Forepersons have 5 to 25 years experience within OGS Landscape Design Build Services. To answer the 'do we hire students?' question, yes we do, as labourers only!
Equipment Resources
To ensure that the job is performed in a safe and timely manner, OGS is responsible for standard and specialized equipment. Unauthorized use of equipment is strictly prohibited.
Proof of Workers Safety and Insurance Board Standing
Landscape contractors (except for single person contractors) are required by law to pay WSIB premiums on behalf of their employees. Hiring companies that are not in compliance makes the project owner- you -liable in case of workplace injuries. OGS Landscape Services is in good standing and all employees are covered by WSIB.
Proof of Liability Insurance
OGS Landscape Services carries Liability Insurance. This insurance includes coverage for bodily injury as well as property damage in the amount of not less than $1,000,000.00.
Warranty
OGS Landscape Services carries a two-year warranty on all stone workmanship. All plants (except annuals and perennials) are under warranty for one-year from date of job completion. See Terms and Conditions 13 and 14 of Contract for further details.
